2K27 Ghost Stepper Step-Throughs

NBA 2K27 Ghost Stepper helps step-through layups and close shots after a fake. New Finishing badge. See the fake-then-finish trigger and when to skip.

Ghost Stepper starts after a fake. Then you step through for a layup or a close shot. A straight-line finish with no fake is a different badge.

Current for the NBA 2K27 MyPLAYER Builder reveal.

Fake, then finish close

Builder Badge Cost panel with Ghost Stepper selected and its step-through-after-fake description.

The official job is a better step-through after a shot fake, at the rim or nearby.

Read it as a sequence:

  1. You sell a fake.
  2. You step through.
  3. You finish close.

Skip any of those three and this badge has nothing to boost. A poster dunk is Posterizer. A post spin is Post Spin Catalyst. A standing jumper is not Finishing.

Who should skip it

Guards who never pump-fake into a step-through should not buy this as a “finishing package.” Bigs who only drop-step or hook have other finishing names.

If the Builder will not put Ghost Stepper in inventory, raise the finishing attributes that screen lists. Do not hunt a hidden button. See how to equip badges.

What the Builder still has to show you

Ghost Stepper is new. There is no last-year animation-count table.

Token cost follows size and position on the Builder. The requirements hub will not invent a Gold line. See the full list for the other finishing names.
