How to Equip 2K27 Badges With Tokens
How to equip badges in NBA 2K27: earn Badge Tokens, pull a badge from inventory into one of 20 slots, then save Loadouts and swap them before tip-off. See the steps.
You equip a badge by spending Badge Tokens to move it from your inventory onto one of 20 slots. You do not copy a 2K26 pause-menu path.

The actual steps
- Build in the MyPLAYER Builder. Size and position change which badges you qualify for and how many tokens each one costs. Watch that cost update as you move sliders.
- Meet the attribute line. When you do, the badge appears in inventory. It is not active yet.
- Spend tokens to place it in an open slot in its discipline — Shooting, Finishing, Playmaking, Defense, Rebounding, or Physicals.
- Reassign later if you need to. Tokens from live games stay in that discipline. Bonus tokens can move.
- Save a Loadout if you want a second mix. You start with one loadout. You can earn three more through REP, Challenges, and Crews.
- Swap the loadout before tip-off to match size or style, without backing out to the full menu.
The NBA 2K HQ app can open the same Builder from August 21. Deluxe and Ultra Early Access is August 26 at 9:00 AM PT.

You cannot token-equip a trigger the build cannot reach. If Pace is not in inventory, more Speed-with-ball talk belongs on the sliders or on Cap Breakers, not on a hidden button.
If a badge is missing
Work the boring causes first:
- Confirm the name is in the 53-badge list. Six last-year badges are gone.
- Confirm the attributes are high enough for inventory. That is a requirements problem.
- Confirm you still have tokens and an open slot in that discipline.
- Confirm you are not reading a 2K26 database.
Legend badges cannot be equipped at create-a-player. They can still be earned later.
