2K27 Paint Patroller Guards the Rim
NBA 2K27 Paint Patroller helps blocks and contests at the rim. Returning Defense badge. Chase-down blocks and hands-up walls are different defense names.
You are already at the rim. You block or contest. Paint Patroller is that helper. A chase from behind is High-Flying Denier.
Current for the NBA 2K27 MyPLAYER Builder reveal.
At the rim, already there
Paint Patroller is a returning Defense badge. The official job is blocks and contests at the rim.
Wall-Up is the new hands-up paint contest. Patroller is the wider rim-protection sentence. They can sit together. They are not copies.
| Job | Paint Patroller? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Blocks and contests at the rim | Yes | Official job |

Post Lockdown is the block, not the rim help
Post Lockdown is post defense and strips. Patroller is the rim. A backdown stop can still want both, but they do not share a trigger.
Does Patroller cover a three-point closeout?
No. Perimeter timed contests are Challenger.
