2K27 Rebirth Tokens on New Saves
2K27 Rebirth badge tokens: four tiers, a 90 OVR jump-start, and tier 4 unlocking every default token on a new save. See what a new build inherits first.
Rebirth is how a finished MyPLAYER helps the next save. Four tiers. After 90 OVR, the new build can start from the highest overall you already reached. A share of that build’s default Badge Tokens unlocks immediately. Tier 4 unlocks all of those default tokens at the start.
Current for the NBA 2K27 MyPLAYER Builder reveal.
What Rebirth actually hands you
Rebirth does not invent new badge names. It shortens the grind on a second (or third) build.
| What you get | When it happens | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| A jump-start overall | After a prior build hits 90 OVR | The new save does not start from the floor |
| A share of default tokens | Every new save, larger at higher tiers | You can fill slots before you play the first City game |
| All default tokens | Tier 4 | The new save starts with its full default token pool |
Tokens still have to be spent. Inventory still needs the attribute line. See how to equip badges.
What Rebirth is not
Rebirth is not a hidden 21st slot. It is not a way to take Legend at create-a-player. Legend still comes later, including through Synergy.
It also does not publish a percentage table you can copy. The Builder and the rebirth screen on your account are the place those shares appear.
How this sits next to tokens
You still earn more tokens by playing, filling the six discipline meters, and doing Team Practice or Gatorade workouts. Rebirth only changes how many default tokens are already unlocked when the new save begins.
Event tokens stay locked to their discipline. Bonus tokens can move. That rule does not change because you rebirth. Read how badges work.
