2K27 Quick Trigger No-Dip Jumpers
NBA 2K27 Quick Trigger helps no-dip jumpers. New Shooting badge. See what no-dip means, why it is not a set-shot leftover, and when to skip this badge now.
No-dip means the ball never drops before the release. Quick Trigger is that jumper. A normal dip, a set-feet catch-and-shoot, or a moving three is a different shooting name.
Current for the NBA 2K27 MyPLAYER Builder reveal.
What no-dip means here
Quick Trigger is a new Shooting badge. The official job is a better no-dip jumper.
That is a release sentence. It is not a range sentence and not a “feet set” sentence.
| Release | Quick Trigger? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Jump shot with no dip | Yes | That is the published trigger |
| Catch-and-shoot three, feet set, normal dip | No | Set and Fire |
| Moving three (pull-up / hop-step / spin) | No | Arc Cadence |
| Planted mid-range | No | Static Middy |
| Moving mid-range | No | Smooth Operator |
Not a leftover set-shot
Set Shot Specialist was split into a standing mid and a standing three. Quick Trigger is not the third half of that split. If you never go up without a dip, this badge stays idle.
Guards who hunt a faster gather still have to meet the attribute line. There is no hidden no-dip button outside the Builder.
Inventory check
Quick Trigger is new. There is no last-year no-dip table.
- Open the Builder — console, or the NBA 2K HQ app from August 21.
- Confirm the badge sits in Shooting inventory on that body.
- Read the token cost on your sliders. Do not reuse a 2K26 timing chart.

Is a no-dip jumper the same as a catch-and-shoot?
No. Catch-and-shoot with feet set is Set and Fire when it is a three, or Static Middy when it is a mid. Quick Trigger only speaks to the no-dip release.
See the 53-name list for the other new shooting names.
