2K27 Badge Loadouts Before Tipoff
2K27 badge Loadouts: one default set plus three more from REP, Challenges, and Crews. Save a mix, then swap it before tip-off without backing out of the menu.
A Loadout is a saved badge mix. You start with one. You can earn three more through REP, Challenges, and Crews. Before tip-off, swap the active set to match size or style without backing out to the full menu.
Current for the NBA 2K27 MyPLAYER Builder reveal.
Why a second mix exists
Twenty slots are not twenty badges you keep forever. Some badges block each other. A Park matchup and a Rec matchup can want different spending.
Loadouts let you keep those mixes instead of tearing the same 20 slots apart every game.
| Job | What you do | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Build the first mix | Spend tokens into the 20 slots | Empty slots do nothing |
| Save another mix | Unlock a second, third, or fourth Loadout | REP, Challenges, and Crews |
| Use it | Swap before tip-off | Counter size or play style in the pregame menu |
What a Loadout does not change
Swapping a Loadout does not raise attributes. It does not grant Legend at create-a-player. It does not replace Synergy or Cap Breakers.
Tokens still follow the lock rule: event tokens stay in their discipline. Bonus tokens can move. See how to equip badges.
If a badge is not in inventory, no Loadout can turn it on. That is a slider problem, not a menu problem.
